LEARNINGBYTES UPCOMING SEMINARS

This fall 07 Learningbytes will be conducting in class workshops with some of our partnering high schools. We will be working with animation students at Mount Pleasant, digital media students at CCOC, and will advise/offer teacher training for a new digital media program Saratoga High teachers will be implementing into their Social Studies curriculum.

In addition, we will continue to work with Watsonville High School and Watsonville's E.A. Hall Middle School. A group of talented students at Watsonville High are creating digital films, and we plan to showcase and promote their efforts. Watsonville High's students, teachers and councellors participated in our Saturday Seminars in film and video last spring (07) and we look forward to another highly inspiring year of working with them.

Scheduled for Monday, Oct. 22 @ 7pm, we will host an information seminar on portfolios. The seminar will highlight portfolios presented by professionals who will explain their backgrounds and answer questions regarding working and preparing for a career in the digital media field.
